Distracting your enemy IS a design function isn't it?! ;o)
And at least you don't have the hard metal armor dipping between the breasts like many do - that would kill her if she just fell face down.lol
All in all, I think it's a cool look and would make a kick-ass rogue or assassin or even a really cool pirate. I think there is much you could do with this design.
